Consultant to Geophysical Service Inc on geological survey mapping project in southeast Iran: field, helicopter and airphoto mapping of arc volcanics, trench sediments and melange, plus map compilation

Mar 1979 - Jun 1981
Post-doctoral fellowship at The Open University: research into practical uses of remote sensing and interactive image processing for geological mapping and mineral exploration

Jul 1981 - Aug 1985
Photogeologist, later Senior Consultant (Remote Sensing) with Hunting Geology & Geophysics (Australia): airphoto and satellite image interpretation for mineral, diamond, coal and hydrocarbon exploration clients

Sep 1985 - Present
Independent consulting geologist based in the UK: remote sensing and regional compilation projects covering all continents (except Antarctica) and all terrain types
